Roppongi Hills: a city within Tokyo

• A complex opened in 2003 by Minoru Mori.
• A 109,000 m² area, costing $4 billion, the result of 14 years of land acquisitions.
• It includes offices, apartments, shops, restaurants, a cinema, a hotel, TV studios, green spaces and the Mori Tower.

Mori Tower

• Height: 238 m, 54 floors (plus 6 underground).
• Houses shops and restaurants on the lower floors, offices (Google, The Pokémon Company, etc.) on the mid floors.
• On the upper floors: the Mori Art Museum (49th–53rd) and Tokyo City View (52nd).

Mori Art Museum

• Founded in 2003, with the mission that "culture shapes a city's identity."
• World-class contemporary art exhibitions.
• Programs include "MAM Collection," "MAM Screen" and "MAM Project."
• Every three years it hosts Roppongi Crossing, focused on contemporary Japanese art.
• Renovated in 2015 with an updated mission.
